Summer 2010

Our summer in a nutshell: non-stop, hot, cold, fun, together.

We spent six weeks in San Clemente, CA in a one bedroom apartment near Camp Pendleton. We all had a blast spending time with Lola, Aunt Nicole, Grandma Galendez and lots of other aunts, cousins and friends. Stu was busy with training, but he enjoyed his one day off a week. Coming back to the Texas heat was a shock after being spoiled by the comfy 65 degree beach weather. We also had a Glenn Family vacation to Sea World San Antonio.

Toes

To go along with Claire's newly painted toes (done by Mama), Papa bought her these CUTE glittery green flip-flops! Yesterday she kept wanting me to put her flip-flops on her. At one point she was walking around the house with just a diaper and these shoes...hilarious!!

Easter

My mom made the turkey (awesome), I made some of the sides, Aunt Sharon made pork (so yummy) and Stephen and Mariglyn brought dessert (delicious) and Claire provided the entertainment.

A "REAL" Haircut

Up until now I've been cutting Claire's hair, not a lot, just a snip of the bangs here and there. I finally decided to take her to a professional. Either way she looks cute.

Claire just sat in the chair and they put the cape on &....tears! It looks worse than it was, really.

Yay!! All done! And on the way home, she got a little dum-dum lollipop and there were no tears or crying, just silence, so Stu and I stopped at Wal-Mart and bought

a 1-pound bag of dum-dums!
