My wonderful, thoughtful and sneaky co-workers at UCSD decided to throw a surprise baby shower for me. Everyone was acting a little odd that day, but I didn't think much of it. Somehow one of my co-workers convinced me to go to lunch, and swing by a "retirement party" before we ate. When they opened the door I was hesitant to go in, so I just said, "I'm not going in there, that's not a retirement party, that's a baby shower!"
I could not believe how beautifully decorated the room was. All of the pharmacy staff was there and some other good friends outside of the pharmacy too. It was absolutely perfect. I was overwhelmed and extremely grateful to have such caring people as my friends/co-workers.
